Dr. Eric Uftring is an experienced German attorney-at-law, specialist lawyer for employment law and specialist lawyer for tax law with a focus on labor leasing. His areas of expertise include drafting temporary employment and labor leasing agreements, applying for labor leasing permits and their renewal, as well as assisting with review procedures in accordance with Section 7 AÜG. For many years, he has represented his clients comprehensively vis-à-vis the Federal Employment Agency, including in appeal proceedings and legal proceedings, including summary proceedings.
In addition, Dr. Eric Uftring advises on all questions of individual and collective employment law, e.g. in the context of corporate restructurings and M&A transactions. He acts both out of court and as a litigator in all instances of German labor, social and civil jurisdiction. He regularly works at the intersection between employment law, tax law and social security.
Dr. Eric Uftring's clients include medium-sized and large companies, some of them international, as well as non-profit organizations. His clients appreciate his professional approach, his ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way, his dedicated support in solving legal problems and his endeavor to achieve the best results for his clients.
After studying law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and the Bavarian Julius-Maximilians University in Würzburg, he completed his legal clerkship at a major international law firm, among others, and wrote his doctoral thesis on criminal tax law.
Before joining DREYENBERG, Dr. Eric Uftring worked for a renowned Frankfurt boutique law firm specialized in employment law and was most recently responsible for the employment law department of a medium-sized German commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main.
